I recently conducted an experiment and threw him into Topshop to find me an outfit to wear. I wasn't expecting much as he thinks that double denim is totally acceptable. I was expecting something along the lines of hot pants and stockings.
However I was really shocked!
He started with the skirt. I was surprised as I have come so close to buying this skirt a few times but never fully committed to it. I LOVE the pattern on it which is also why he was drawn to it. Which is a good sign!
He also grabbed a leather jacket which is not surprising given that we both wear and love leather jackets. This is not one I would have tried myself as I didn't like the studs and the shape of it. However, it was gorgeous on! It has since been reduced in the sales and I'm thinking of buying it for the summer.
We were limited to wearing my boots though so don't judge him on the footwear.
He lost points on the T-shirt as I would never have put something patterned with pattern. He chose a grey T-shirt with PEACE written on the front and cheap looking chains on the shoulders. In his own words he panicked as he couldn't find what he actually wanted. So I am not taking too many points off for that one!!!
All in all though - a really good effort! What do we think?
