Zoya Tickled and Bubbly Swatches and Review

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to share with you my review of the Zoya Tickled and Bubbly collections which were recently released for the Summer season. The tickled collection features six bright full coverage creams while the Bubbly collection is made up of six glittery beauties.

Since the two collection seems to have matching cream and glitter shades, I chose to test the Bubbly shades as toppers over their (in most cases) matching Tickled shades. Although I would usually split the two collections into separate posts, I wanted to make it easier to compare how the topper changed the base color. For that reason prepare yourselves for a photo heavy post...

Before we get to the swatches, just a few general comments so I don't have to repeat myself. Although I chose to layer the Bubbly shades, they can be used on their own as well and will achieve good coverage in 3-4 coats. For the Tickled swatches I used 2 coats of the cream polish with no top coat. Then I added 2 coats of the matching glittery shade plus a top coat for the Bubbly swatches. The formula on all of the bubbly shades is great. It is easy to apply and provides great distribution of the glitter and shimmer. If using it alone, I suggest giving a little extra time between coats so the jelly base does not get goopy. The photos don't do the glittery beauties justice because it is just impossible to capture all the color shifts in the iridescent glitter. Now let's get to the swatches...

Tilda
A sour apple green cream. The formula is nice and creamy, maybe a tad on the thick side. It is practically a one coater...

Ling
A medium blue cream. This one is nice and creamy, not too thick. Applies very easily. It is another one that can be a 1 coater. It did not stain for me (always my worry with blues for some reason!)...

Muse (layered over Ling)
A sheer blue base loaded with green and gold glass fleck shimmer and blue, green and gold iridescent glitter. This one is so gorgeous! It is the only one that has green glass fleck shimmer and I love it...

Rooney
A rose pink cream. The formula is a bit thick, but smooth and manageable. Like the two creams above, this is practically a one coat polish which is so amazing!

Kirtridge
A bubble gum pink cream. This has a great formula that is not too thick. It provides full coverage in two coats...

Wendy
A coral pink cream. The formula is similar to Kirtridge above, it is nice and smooth, not too thick. Two coats provides full, even coverage...

Alma (layered over Wendy)
A light orange sheer base loaded with gold glass fleck shimmer and iridescent glitter. As you can see this doesn't match the cream shade I layered it over and it completely dominated the color. Three coats of this on it's own would have given good coverage as well. This seems to have more of the gold shimmer than the rest. Really sparkly...

Rocha
A bright carrot orange cream with just a hint of coral. The formula is on thicker side, but still smooth and relatively easy to apply. This is one of my favorites from the creamy shades...
